Center at 353 provides exceptional mental health services to our community through evidence-based clinical practice and education as an independent non-profit.

We have a team of experts providing comprehensive in-person and virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Center at 353 accepts Aetna, BCBS, Medicare, and Princeton Theological Seminary insurance. We process claims for out-of-network insurance. We offer sliding-scale services and grant-funded treatment. No one is turned away due to lack of resources.

Center at 353 is a trauma-informed agency. Our licensed clinicians are trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and certified as clinical trauma professionals, and/or trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Our Programs

General Counseling:

We have a team of experts providing comprehensive in-person and virtual mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Childhood Intervention Initiative:

Fully grant funded, provides children and families, living at or below the federal poverty level, with mental health support.

Bereavement and Caregivers Program:

For clients with issues of grief and loss, and clients caring for loved ones.

Workshops, talks, and outreach designed to meet the ongoing need for mental health education and prevention services in our community.

Community Outreach, Prevention, and Education Program (COPE):

Psychoeducational Testing:

Testing for educational performance and experience.

Psychological Evaluations for Ministry Candidates:

Psychological testing for a variety of presbyteries and dioceses in NY, NJ, CT, and PA.

Referrals and placement services:

When calling for services, every prospective client is screened by a licensed intake coordinator. Multiple referrals are given when Center at 353 is not an appropriate fit for treatment.
