Officers

  • Monique S. Bombardieri is a long-term resident of Titusville, NJ. Monique grew up locally and attended Stuart Country Day School. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Muhlenberg College and received a Master of Arts in Teaching from the College of New Jersey. Monique is very active with the Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart. An avid supporter of mental health and the Center at 353 mission, Monique has been an active and vital member of the Center at 353 Development Committee, including bringing invaluable skills as an event planner, fundraiser and creative marketer to our Event Committee. Monique is married to Jon Bombardieri and is the proud mother of two terrific boys.

  • Georgia Gosnell, JD, Vice President: Georgia (Robin) Gosnell graduated from Concord Academy, Dartmouth College, and Columbia University School of Law. She practiced tax law for five years in New York City and then retired to raise her four children. During their childhoods, she worked part-time in the boutique investment firm founded by her then-husband. Robin has been active with the International Rescue Committee of New York City for most of her adult life, joining its Board and Executive Committee. After an extended term, she now serves on its Board of Advisors. Robin is a past President of the Garden Club of Princeton. She currently sits on the Boards of Princeton Day School and The Wild Center, the natural history museum of the Adirondacks.

  • Jim received both his undergraduate and MBS degrees from Rutgers. He began his career with Ernst & Young, LLP in Manhattan, where, as part of the Entrepreneurial Services Department, he worked primarily with companies involved with initial public offerings (IPOs) or that which had gone public with privately-held companies. He joined Princeton Financial Group, LLC in January 2000 as a partner, and focuses on tax, business and financial planning, and special projects for clients. In addition to being a CPA, Jim is a Registered Investment Advisor and QuickBooks ProAdvisor. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Tax Preparers, New Jersey Society of CPAs, and the Princeton Chamber of Commerce. Jim lives in West Windsor with his wife who teaches mathematics at Montgomery High School and his two children. His extensive volunteer activity in the Princeton area includes work with Home Front, Paddle for Pink, Diversity Discovered, and Project Freedom. He currently serves on the board of Project Freedom.

  • Janet recently retired from Princeton University after 27 years, holding various senior managers and key executive positions including: Senior Manager, Finance and Administration for the Department of Chemistry, Associate Director, Princeton Environmental Institute, and Assistant to the President. Prior to Princeton, Janet worked for over a decade with human rights advocacy organizations in Washington, DC, including as Senior Program Associate with the Science and Human Rights Program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and as Administrative Director of Survival International USA. She obtained her B.A. from Albion College, and a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in European Studies and International Economics. She has been a loyal supporter of Center at 353 over the years and is a strong advocate for mental health. She looks forward to devoting her time, energy, and considerable skills to serving Center at 353.

Trustees

  • With over 20 years dedicated to healthcare, Sakeenah Allen is a seasoned Nurse Practitioner committed to enhancing child and family wellness. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Child and Family Wellness at Christina Seix Academy, she oversees health services, counseling, residential life, parent engagement and nutrition services. Additionally, she extends her influence to support athletics and physical education, all aimed at advancing the academic and health pathways of students.

     

    Prior to joining Christina Seix Academy, Sakeenah directed inpatient and outpatient care units, emergency rooms, and clinical research projects at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Virtua Hospital in New Jersey. Seeking to expand her healthcare expertise, she pursued studies at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Sakeenah has worked with diverse patient populations and is committed to advancing health equity, reducing disparities in health and addressing systemic barriers to ensure optimal health of children and families.

     

    Sakeenah believes in the importance of holistic health, which includes both mental and physical well-being. Drawing from her experience collaborating closely with physicians and senior administrators to ensure quality outcomes in hospital settings, Sakeenah applies a similar framework in her relationships with administration, staff and parents at Christina Seix Academy. She advocates for improved health within the school through evidence-based practices of preventative care, social-emotional and mental health programs and nutrition and health education, recognizing their connection to enhanced academic outcomes and lifelong wellness.

     

    This unique combination of clinical expertise, business acumen and relationship building equips her with a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted challenges faced by different organizations in supporting the health and well being of families. She views her work as a privilege to be entrusted with the healthcare of children, families and surrounding communities and partnering with organizations to strategize and improve organizational goals and healthcare outcomes, ultimately shaping the future of health and healthcare delivery.

  • Born and raised in Princeton, NJ, Andrew resides in Texas with his wife, Laurel. A graduate of Princeton Day School, Andrew received his BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University. And after a successful career as a mortgage professional, Andrew retired in 2020. Andrew’s parents, Helen and Martin Chooljian, were long-time supporters of Trinity Counseling Service, with Martin serving as a founding member of the TCS Board of Trustees. Andrew has a strong commitment to mental health and to supporting Princeton where he grew up and continues to have strong community ties.

  • Lynne and her husband, Van, were residents of Princeton for 24 years; and although they maintain an apartment in Palmer Square, they now spend approximately 9 months in Wyoming. Formerly, Lynne worked for TIAA where she was Managing Counsel in the Investment Law division. Lynne retired in 2008 to focus on her non-profit commitments, becoming involved with Trinity Counseling Service in 2005/2006 serving as Chair of Governance and then as Board Chair for 7 years. Lynne chaired the Search Committee for a new Executive Director upon Peter Stimpson’s retirement, resulting in Whitney Ross becoming ED in 2014. Lynne also served as Co-Chair of the Profile and Discernment Committees for Trinity Church when Trinity called Paul Jeanes to serve as its Rector. When in Wyoming, she and Van serve as volunteer Rangers in Grand Teton National Park during the summers and as x-country ski Ambassadors in the winter. Lynne is also active in the Grant Teton National Park Foundation and serves as a member of the “Resource Council.” Lynne was a vital member of the TCS “Headquarters Committee” responsible for locating and renovating 353 Nassau Street. Lynne currently serves as a member of the Strategic Planning Task Force and as a member of the Building & Grounds Committee.

  • Aziz, known for his creative vision and entrepreneurial skillset and community focus, is a native of Morocco and has lived in Princeton for 20 years. Aziz studied and worked in Morocco, France, Italy, Madrid, and New York City. He is the owner of Casa Aziz Salon in Princeton. He is a charismatic business owner with over 40 employees. Aziz won the 2019 Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce. Aziz has been an enthusiastic supporter and ambassador of Center at 353 and our work for the past nine years, having attended the Speaker Series programs and supported numerous events, including as a corporate sponsor. Aziz is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.

  • Betsy was born and raised in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. She graduated from the University of Virginia and began her banking career in Richmond. She moved to New York City after she was married and continued her banking career there at JP Morgan in the Private Bank. Betsy and her family moved to Pennington 20 years ago where she and her husband, Tom, raised their two sons. She is currently employed by Princeton University as a Senior Associate Director in the office of Advancement. In addition to serving on the Board of Center at 353, Betsy is a member of the Stony Brook Garden Club and previously served as the Club’s Treasurer for 2 terms. In addition, she has served as a Board Member of The Pennington Montessori School and as a Trustee and former Board Chair for The Friends of the Pennington Library.

  • Meg’s experiences span more than 40 years working as an entrepreneur, co-hosting a business TV streaming program, and working in corporate life, too. She began her career with Merrill Lynch, working with senior management and financial advisors in various business areas including Finance and Administration, Asset Management, Technology and Retirement. In 2012, Meg transitioned to work directly with financial advisors in the independent space, and subsequently co-founded Beacon Partners, a business consulting and executive and leadership coaching firm helping clients to become better business owners. Meg received her coaching certification (EPC) through Erickson International. In addition to her professional life, Meg has served her community by supporting organizations whose mission is to help others, including the Trenton Area South Kitchen, Housing Initiatives of Princeton, Urban Promise of Trenton, Arm-in-Arm (formerly Crisis Ministry), and now Center at 353, where her husband, Jack, previously served as a Trustee. When not working or supporting her community, Meg can be found boating, cooking her favorite dishes, or watching anything on TCM! She and Jack have six children and two grandchildren.

  • Mike is a Principal of Alba Risk management, LLC, and Co-Founder of Blue Dot Climate Insurance, LLC. Mike is a graduate of Williams College and Yale Law School, where he served as an Editor of the Yale Law Journal. Mike previously served as a Center at 353 Trustee in 2015-2016. His father, James Scott Hill, was a founding Trustee of Trinity Counseling Service, and served as President of the Board in 1978-1979 and 1982-1983, and as Co-President in 1981-1982. In 2010, the Sally Foss and James Scott Hill Foundation partnered with Center at 353 to develop the Bereavement and Caregivers Program.

  • Craig was born in Michigan, relocated to Princeton in 2002, and settled in Denver in 2021. Craig is Co-Chair of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention, and Senior Advisor on mental health at Edelman Global Advisory. Previously he was Global Mental Health Ambassador at Johnson & Johnson, where he led a team that sought to transform mental health care by raising awareness, reducing stigma, promoting research, improving access, and ensuring better patient outcomes. Prior to this role, Craig held a variety of positions in global corporate and government affairs at Johnson & Johnson and worked as a lawyer in the U.S. Congress, a Washington, DC law firm, and an international human rights organization. He serves a number of non-profit boards in Princeton and beyond.

  • After initially working in public accounting, Jane found her way to Your Part-Time Controller, providing accounting guidance and support for a wide range of non-profit organizations – food relief agencies, battered women’s shelters, churches, museums, health assistance organizations – for 22 years. She had the good fortune to be assigned to Center at 353 where she worked for 6 years before her retirement in 2020. She is the current President of the Board of Trustees at Kellman Brown Academy and is honored to continue her relationship with Center at 353 as a Trustee. Jane and her husband, Rabbi Steven Lindemann, have resided in Cherry Hill since 1992. They have four children, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren.

  • Lisa Marin resides in Lambertville, NJ and is a lifelong resident of the area. A graduate of The Hun School of Princeton, she later earned a BA in English with a minor in International Relations from Franklin and Marshall College and a JD from Rutgers Law School. She began her law career as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of NJ representing the Division of Developmental Disabilities and Division of Mental Health Services before becoming Deputy Appointments Counsel at the NJ Office of the Governor, Office of Appointments under Governor Christine Todd Whitman. After temporarily leaving the workforce to raise her three sons, Lisa served at The Lawrenceville School as Associate Director of Alumni Relations and the Lawrenceville Fund in the Office of Alumni and Development. She moved to her alma mater in 2016 and served in a variety of positions in the Hun School’s Advancement Office, including as Director of Capital and Planned Giving, before retiring in July 2023.

  • Dr. Melissa Marks was appointed Director of Medical Services at Princeton University in 2020. A 1986 Princeton graduate, she graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed her Pediatric Residency at Hopkins, as well. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics. She worked at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center for 18 years in various roles, including as vice chief-of-staff, director of GBMC’s Pediatric Advanced Life Saving Program and clinical director of GBMC’s Pediatric Emergency and Inpatient Services. She was the organization’s first female chief-of-staff and oversaw a medical workforce of 1,200 physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. She also served as a preceptor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine for 15 years and as a consultant to Sheppard Pratt Psychiatric Hospital staff. Dr. Marks, an innovative and transformative leader, is known for her collaborative, supervisory and teaching skills with over 20 years of experience in pediatric, adolescent, and young adult medicine. She is fluent in French and Spanish. She has special expertise and interest in the interface between medical and mental health problems with adolescents and young adults.

  • Courtney’s career has included previous positions at the Arts Council of Princeton and as the Chief Development and Marketing Officer at Mercer Street Friends. Courtney was instrumental in raising funds for the Eugene Marsh Center for Veterans and Military Affairs, the first space at Rider University to be named for a Black alumnus. She runs her own consulting business, working with area non-profits and small businesses.

  • A lifelong educator, Paris was recently appointed Assistant Head of School for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Anti-Oppression at Montclair-Kimberley Academy in Montclair, New Jersey. He has been an independent school educator and leader for 20 years. Born in Bordentown, NJ, and currently a resident of Bloomfield, NJ, he is a graduate of Princeton Day School and returned to teach there after college and graduate school. At PDS, he served as a 2nd Grade Lead Teacher, curriculum coordinator, multicultural diversity team chair, head varsity basketball coach. He moved on to become the Lower School Head and the Assistant Head of School at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart (NJ). He is a graduate of LaSalle University (B.A.; Elementary and Special Education), The Klingenstein Center, Teachers College Columbia University (Ed.M.; Private School Leadership), and most recently, the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Aspiring Heads Institute. Paris has presented at state, national, and international conferences focusing on social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion within school structures. Paris is also a faculty member within the Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) Summer Leadership Institute (LI), where his educational focus is on themes of pluralism within school communities. A strong proponent of the importance of mental health especially in school communities, Paris is well known by several Board members and has worked closely with Center at 353 over the years coordinating mental health care for his students.

  • Nicole (Nikki) Sheetz Frith is married to Brinton Frith and has four children, Sam Iacavazzi, Logan, Gavin, and Patrick Frith. Nikki graduated from Susquehanna University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. After graduation, Nikki worked in the retail industry and then spent several years in the food service industry developing marketing plans for clients. Most recently, Nikki served as Chair of the Board at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart and as a member of the board of trustees at The Millbrook School in New York. In her spare time Nikki enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with her family. Nikki and her family are committed to the work of mental health and wellness and have been proud leadership supporters of TCS annual events for more than a decade.

  • Nick is a Principal at Roundview Capital, LLC, an independent investment management and advisory firm for high-net-worth families and institutions based in Princeton, NJ. A member of the investment advisory team at Roundview Capital, Nick is also a Certified Financial Planner. His focuses are investment research and working closely with clients, assisting them throughout the key stages of their financial lives. Nick has expertise in the use of investment technology and leveraging cutting edge financial tools and advancements. Nick graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a BA in Economics and History. He has prior experience in research and consulting in the medical, government contracting, and consumer packaged goods industries. A strong proponent of mental health, he is eager to support Center at 353 in whatever ways he can and brings valuable investment knowledge and expertise to the Board.

  • Christina is a partner with the law firm of Dilworth Paxson, LLP, where she practices health law and policy, with a focus on non-profits. She serves as the outside General Counsel of the NJ Sharing Network and as an adjunct professor at Rutgers School of Law.

  • The Rev. Dr. Theresa S. Thames is the Associate Dean of Religious Life and the Chapel at Princeton University. Born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Biloxi, Theresa served as a pastor in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area for nine years. She is a graduate of Howard University, Duke University Divinity School, and Wesley Theological Seminary.  She currently serves on the Princeton in Africa Board and the Penn Medicine/Princeton Hospital Board of Religious Ministries. Theresa is passionate about the intersections of theology, gender, organizational leadership development, and social justice. She is a lover of life, an international traveler, a challenging preacher, a music connoisseur, a yoga influencer, and a devoted friend who prioritizes self-care and believes that radical joy is resistance.

  • Jennifer Woods is currently the Senior Director, Talent Partnerships, at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Jennifer Woods joined the Foundation in 2014 as a staff training and development officer, where she designs and manages learning and development projects for RWJF staff. Jennifer views her work as “another opportunity to contribute to the Culture of Health through initiatives that enable staff to enjoy enriching learning opportunities.” Before joining RWJF, Jennifer was an associate program manager of training with the New Jersey Child Support Institute of the Rutgers University School of Social Work. In this role she managed the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training for state human services professionals. Her career in learning and development spans more than 25 years. Jennifer held numerous training and development roles in both corporate and non-profit organizations.

    Jennifer earned a BA from Douglass College/Rutgers University and an MA from Montclair State University. A New Jersey native, she lives in North Brunswick with her husband, Christopher Woods, and their son. She enjoys the time she spends with family, a 14-year membership in her book club, completing home improvement projects, and energizing yoga sessions.

  • Dr. Peter Yi grew up in Seoul, South Korea and emigrated to the United States without speaking English at the age of eighteen. He received his BS from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1980 where was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, earning honors in Chemistry and Biochemistry. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He served his medical internship and residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School (1984-1987) with a Clinical Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at New York Hospital- Cornell Medical Center (1987-1988). He completed a Research fellowship and Chief Fellowship at New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center from 1988-1990. Dr. Yi joined the Princeton Medical Group in 1990 and has practiced medical oncology hematology there for the last thirty-three years. He was an attending physician at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in addition to serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology, Dr. Yi is the recipient of many academic awards and author of many scholarly papers. He is a fellow the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Harvey Society, and the Oncology Society of New Jersey. Dr. Yi’s board experience includes Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, Foundation Board member at Princeton Healthcare System, American Cancer Society Mercer County, and the American Boychoir School. He and his wife, Alice, have two grown children and have been Princeton residents for 33 of their 43 years of marriage.

  • Paul has served as the Rector of Trinity Church in Princeton since the fall of 2008. In addition to his service at Trinity Church, Paul is on the board of Religious Ministries PHCS, an ex-officio member of the Trinity Counseling Service Board of Directors, as well as a member of the Diocesan Council for the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey, and former Dean of the Trenton Convocation. Prior to coming to Trinity, Paul served for nine years as rector of St. James’ Church in Pewee Valley, KY. He also served for two years as Assistant Priest at Christ Church Cathedral and Chaplain for Home of the Innocents both in Louisville, KY. Paul graduated from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary in 1997 with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. He also spent one year at General Theological Seminary in New York earning a diploma in Anglican Studies. Paul is an alumnus of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. He and his wife, Christina, have been married for twenty years and have three children Sophia, John Paul, and Luke.

  • Dr. Ross is a graduate of Hamilton College and holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University and a PhD from City University of New York. Whitney was raised in Princeton and has lived in Asia, Europe, NYC, Southern California, and returned to Princeton with her family over 15 years ago. She is a licensed clinical psychologist, organizational consultant, and executive coach with more than 30 years of professional experience. In addition to serving as the Executive Director at Center at 353, Whitney serves on the Committee of Biomedical Ethics at Penn Medicine/Princeton Hospital. Dr. Ross became the 3rd Executive Director in 2014.
